Shipping & Delivery

1. Shipping Coverage

Continental United States: We offer FREE ocean & truck shipping on all orders to the Continental U.S. (excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and remote islands). This includes all import duties and taxes.

International Shipping: We ship to most countries worldwide. For deliveries outside the Continental U.S., please contact our concierge at info@velasculpture.com for a custom logistics quote within one business day.

2. Production & Delivery Timelines

Every VELA sculpture is made-to-order by skilled artisans. Production begins only after your explicit approval of the CAD drawings or 3D renders.

• Standard Bespoke Orders: Production takes approximately 35-45 business days. International transit takes an additional 25-35 business days. Total estimated lead time: 12-14 weeks.
• Bronze Sculptures: Due to the complexity of the lost-wax casting and patina process, bronze works require an additional 14-21 days of production.
• Expedited Shipping: Available for small-scale sculptures only. Please contact us for a quotation if your project has a strict deadline.

3. Fine Art Packaging

To prevent damage during international transit, our sculptures are secured in reinforced heavy-duty plywood crates. We utilize industrial-strength wrap and EPE protective foam. Each crate is built specifically for the dimensions of your piece to ensure a perfect, vibration-free fit.

4. Receiving Your Masterpiece

Curbside Delivery: Standard shipping is curbside only. The driver is not responsible for moving the item into your home, garden, or onto a pedestal.

Unloading Requirements: Because of the significant weight of our sculptures, you are required to have 3-4 able-bodied persons or a forklift available at the time of delivery. Lift gates cannot be used for crates that exceed standard dimensions or have structural overhangs.

Scheduling: Our carrier will call you 24-48 hours in advance to schedule a delivery window. Failure to be present or return calls may result in storage fees charged by the carrier, which are the responsibility of the client.

5. Inspection & Claims

Please inspect the exterior of the crate before signing the Proof of Delivery (POD). If the crate shows signs of trauma, you must write "DAMAGED" on the carrier’s receipt.

Any internal damage must be reported to info@velasculpture.com within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. If no report is made within this window, the goods are deemed to have arrived in perfect condition.

6. Force Majeure

VELA SCULPTURE shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: port congestion, customs clearance delays, extreme weather, or global health emergencies. We will maintain transparent communication during any such events.
