2. Coverage Details
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and recommended maintenance. Coverage includes:
- Structural Integrity: Protection against structural cracks, breaks, or instability arising from faulty fabrication or material flaws.
- Artisanal Quality: Significant defects in the casting, carving, or assembly process that compromise the aesthetic or functional essence of the artwork.
3. Natural Materials Notice
Important: Fine art utilizes natural materials. Minor imperfections, color variations, and unique vein patterns in marble are considered characteristics of the stone's soul, not defects. For bronze and unpainted metals, the development of a natural patina or tarnish over time is a standard aging process and is excluded from warranty claims. All sculptures are handmade; small artisanal variations are part of the unique value of a bespoke VELA piece.
4. Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Cosmetic wear and tear, including minor surface scratches or discoloration over time.
- Damage resulting from improper installation or handling by third-party contractors.
- Damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
- Acts of God, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, lighting, or extreme environmental conditions.
5. Warranty Claim Protocol
To initiate a claim, please contact our concierge team:
- Notification: Email info@velasculpture.com with a description of the issue and proof of purchase.
- Documentation: Provide detailed high-resolution photographs of the defect and the surrounding installation environment.
- Resolution: VELA SCULPTURE will evaluate the claim and, at our discretion, provide repair guidance, replacement parts, or a full replacement of the sculpture.
DISCLAIMER: VELA SCULPTURE disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the artwork. This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy for any material or workmanship defect.
